EVENT

EURO18 Los Angeles

Venue: Petersen Museum, Los Angeles, CA

Back to Los Angeles once again, now to the downtown to attend the European Car Show 2018, advertised on social media as the #EURO18. The interesting thing this time was that it was a place I didn't know about, same as Bonelli Park. Oh I think I don't even know LA as much as I think or I wish. Well, this place in particular is the Petersen Museum, which is a big parking lot building where there is a 3-floor section into it where there are display rooms for diverse brands and styles of cars, from a complete Porsche history display section to Motorsports cars to cars that have been shown on Hollywood movies. The car show event took place at the 3rd floor of the parking lot which was in part open without a ceiling. There I could find many great examples of amazing Euro cars, from Volkswagen to BMW, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes among other brands, and there was a raffle of car parts for the attendants. Unfortunately for me this time I made it there until almost 1 pm, the event about to finish, so I wasn't able to take photos of all the cars in all their glory during the car show, even some of them I barely could catch them and take shots of them just before they were leaving. Actually one of them was an RWB tuned Porsche 911, which was just parked and heading out. I could take shots and video of it leaving the place, which was great looking at it since it was the very first RWB Porsche I ever saw. Hear that roaring engine sound was amazing! Well, next time will try to make it there earlier, maybe leaving my town earlier or staying in a hotel the night before the event. I have one year to make a plan and execute. In the meantime, enjoy the slideshow of the #EURO18 car show!
